VALERIE ENGLISH

Prior to founding the boutique design and branding agency Pix Design in 1994, Valerie worked as an art director and designer on top national accounts including Moet & Chandon, Dom Perignon and Ruffino Wines. With over 20 years of experience and the uncanny ability to spot a typo from across the room, Valerie oversees all aspects of design and operations. She holds a BFA in Communication Design from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and studied Fine Arts at the University of South Florida. While growing up in St. Petersburg, Florida she mastered the mysterious arts of pool, bowling, foosball and ping-pong.

REESE VACCAREZZA

When not being a totally awesome designer at Pix Design, Reese can be found digging up vintage illustrations, attending Wes Anderson movie marathons and/or dreaming of all things Scandinavian. She joined Pix Design after receiving her BFA in Graphic Design at American University in Washington, D.C. During her semester abroad at University College in London, she studied Egyptology and Hieroglyphics. Reese grew up in the Bay Area, but we think she’s more Brooklyn than Sunnyvale.

BRENDA STORER

Brenda hails from Silicon Valley and so may have caught the ‘techie’ bug from birth. She lived in Italy and London before moving to New York to study Communication Design at FIT. She has designed and built web sites and print campaigns for Disney, Worldhealer, Inc., and Pratima Spa and Skincare. Interactive design is her primary focus at Pix Design but she also assists with web development and print design. In her downtime, Brenda’s either enjoying the embarrassment of riches that is New York’s music scene, tracking down soon-to-be discovered restaurants with her foodie friends, or belting out Take That songs in Midtown karaoke bars.
